GENERALITIES

  • System of marks and qualifications: the evaluation is permanent and deals with the comprehension performances developed by the students, all evaluation is diagnostic to the extent that it reveals elements of judgment to act pedagogically; here the evaluation is not exhausted in the qualification, it goes further and is combined with processes of self-evaluation, co-evaluation and is expressed in quantitative results (from 1 to 5) and qualitative.

PEDAGOGICAL APPROACH

Our students are given a solid formation in values ​​linked to a comprehensive education that includes skills, competencies and scientific knowledge necessary for life and for their insertion in the university environment, at the same time that opportunities are generated for them develop their artistic talent, we encourage permanent practice of sports thus achieving high levels of competitiveness at the departmental-national and international level as evidenced in current achievements. The curricular proposal of the NAS is oriented to the transformation of children and young people into competent adults within different areas of life. Our pedagogical approach guarantees the development of thinking skills and the possibility of achieving professional goals, goals that respond to their motivations and life project, by building themselves as respectful, responsible human beings, excellent citizens of the world and leaders in community building.

Our methodology favors learning based on teaching for understanding EpC – Project Zero of Harvard University, an approach where the student is involved in the construction of knowledge through comprehension performances without neglecting permanent metacognition and constructive reflection on their do. With the EpC the voice of the student is rescued and critical thinking is stimulated.

The Reggio Emilia program of the Italian Solare Network implemented in preschool explores the formation of preconceptions, social and cognitive skills in early childhood children. In this approach, children explore their environment, use play as a pedagogical tool, develop creativity in the world of color, painting and drawing.

Through collaborative work they develop interdisciplinary projects and carry out their first immersion in foreign languages. We develop skills and competencies through the use of applications such as the “competent readers” program, the Learning A to Z platform.

Bilingualism

INFRAESTRUCTURE

The Neil Armstrong School has extensive and modern sports facilities, among others, a regulation soccer field, tennis basketball and volleyball chas, a modern sports center where cultural events are also held.

SCHOOL RESTAURANT

In the restaurant, Our Healthy and Healthy Food -NASS- responds to an institutional policy that considers the health and well-being of our students as a priority; the foods offered in the lunch box and school lunch are consistent with nutritional needs according to age and are guided by a nutrition professional and a food engineer who design and verify all processes.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

We are aware of the importance of extracurricular activities in the training and development of our children, that is why after the school day, in the School facilities, we offer from Kinder 4 different options focused on sports schools in search of training them in the basic fundamentals of soccer, basketball, skating, cheers, Olympic gymnastics and volleyball, and in the areas of violin, robotics, English club, chess among others, which promote the development of thought.
